The man accused of attacking Milwaukee's mayor is due back in court today
The man accused of attacking Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is due back in court this morning.
A judge will review the results of a mental exam for Anthony Peters, 20.
And his lawyer will say whether he'll challenge the test results, or ask for a trial date. Peters is said to have bi-polar disorder, and perhaps schizophrenia.
Barrett suffered a broken hand and head and mouth injuries in mid-August as he was leaving the State Fair in West Allis.
Authorities said Barrett was calling 911 to help a woman who was arguing with Peters, when the man struck the Milwaukee mayor with a tire iron.
The woman was the grandmother of Peters' one-year-old daughter.
