Schachtner defeats Jarchow in special election

New surroundings for studio

Amy Miller relocated her Trimbelle River Studio and Design business to the former State Farm Insurance building on Ellsworth's main street this fall. The enterprise was previously housed in a structure between Heartfelt Gifts and Guardianship Diversified Services in the village's west business district. Miller said Friday this has been a "big year" for her, with the move plus the unveiling of her new book, "Stenciling the Arts and Crafts Home." She's also been on-the-road for many of her workshops and shows. Miller originally began her venture here approximately nine years ago in the Flanders building on Ellsworth's west hill (present site of Little New York), which she quickly outgrew.
