Funkie Gardens to sponsor Prescott Garden Tour fundraiser

The first annual Prescott Garden Tour, sponsored by Funkie Gardens, will be held 9 a.m.-5 p.m. June 16 throughout the city. The event is open for the public.

"It will be a great opportunity to view a number of private gardens in Prescott, talk to gardeners and share in their knowledge and experience," said Baard Webster, owner of Funkie Gardens.

Cost to tour the gardens is a $10 donation and can be purchased at any of the six stops - Susan and Peter Fox; Jim and Jana Lawton; Mike Erie and Roger Dalziel; Scot and Julie Arndtson, Freedom Park and Funkie Gardens - the day of. Webster added that no route is involved however to be eligible for a $50 Funkie Gardens gift certificate participants must visit all six stops.
