Amery man now in fair condition after being in a rollover

The Amery man who was part of the rollover accident Sunday morning in which the other occupant in the vehicle died has seen his condition improve.

Adam J. Jain, 26, is now listed in fair condition according to a Regions Hospital spokesperson Thursday morning.

Jain and Tara J. Lynch, 28, 1485 Wildcat Court, River Falls, were traveling westbound on State Highway 29, about four miles east of River Falls, when the vehicle, a 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor, rolled several times through a hayfield before coming to rest in a yard at W7964 STH 29.

Jain was transported to Regions with what medical personnel on scene described as head and possible back injuries. He was originally listed in critical condition Monday. Lynch was pronounced dead at the scene by Medical Examiner Susan Dzubay.

Pierce County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Neil Gulbranson said Thursday afternoon that authorities haven't fully determined yet who was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred.
