Red Wing man injured in a rollover accident

A Red Wing man was injured Monday afternoon when the truck he was driving rolled over in the Town of Trenton.

Timothy Langer, 25, was northbound on State Highway 35, near 770th St., when he left the roadway, entered the ditch and overturned numerous times, trapping him inside, according to Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy Jean Spletstoser in a news release. Spletstoser said the Sheriff's Department was notified of the accident around 12:40 p.m.

Langer was also hauling a trailer, loaded with a farm tractor. It became disconnected and traveled through a yard, destroying a series of dog kennels. Langer was extricated and transported by ambulance to a Mayo One helicopter with undetermined injuries, where he was flown to an unknown hospital, Spletstoser said.

The Sheriff's Department was assisted by Red Wing Paramedics, Ellsworth Fire, and Siewert's Towing.
