Accident victim now in good condition

A Star Prairie man who was seriously injured in a car/Terra Gator collision earlier this month has seen his condition improve.

Matthew J. Lindberg, 20, was listed in good condition last week, according to a Regions spokesperson.

On June 13, Lindberg was southbound on US Highway 63 when, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, he crossed the center line and collided with a 2014 Terra-Gator (a fertilizer spreader) operated by Michael D. Moldenhauer, 25, Plum City. The accident happened around 11:38 a.m. in the Town of Ellsworth.

Lindberg was flown from the scene by North Memorial Air to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Moldenhauer was uninjured. The Gator was owned by Western Wisconsin Ag Supply of Ellsworth.

The sheriff's department was assisted on scene by Ellsworth police, ambulance, fire and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
