Shipping season begins on Great Lakes
DULUTH/SUPERIOR - The shipping season is moving into high gear at the Twin Ports of Duluth-Superior and business is humming.
As always, iron ore is the Number-one cargo item that's being sent out. Adele Yorde of the Duluth Seaway Port Authority said shippers have high hopes for coal business that took a sharp drop in 2010.
This year's plan is to ship coal from Duluth-Superior to European markets where the demand for coal is high.
