The Pierce County Sheriff's Office received a report last month about criminal damage to property on two greens at the Clifton Hollow Golf Course.

Michael Tschida, Clifton Hollow General Manager, told sheriff's deputies on Monday, July 28, someone went out to the second green and carved a swastika in the grass. Tschida estimated the incident happened on Sunday, July 20 or Monday, July 21. The second incident, Tschida explained, was on or near Saturday, July 26 into Sunday, July 27, as someone carved a swastika and a star into the green on the third hole. Tschida added his bosses told him it would be about $5,000 worth of damages.
