Ellsworth police: Underage party busted
The following incidents were investigated by the Ellsworth Police Department Nov. 13-19.
Problem with homecoming float?
An Ellsworth man called at 1:39 p.m. Nov. 13 to request a meeting with the police chief concerning issues with a float that was in the Ellsworth schools homecoming parade this past fall. He told police a group of people wants to speak with the chief. The chief gave him his hours of availability, but a time was not settled upon.
Lucas Danielson, 28, Ellsworth, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. Nov. 16 at 1321 Debra St. for a probation violation.
Numerous citations were doled out at an alleged underage drinking party at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at 1536 N. Maple St. Marijuana and paraphernalia were also found. Tanner Huppert, 19, Ellsworth; Evan Strand, 18, Prescott; Kelsey Penk, 19, Prescott and Abraham Rohl, 19, Prescott, were all cited for underage consumption of alcohol. Spencer LaRock, 20, Hudson was cited for possession of marijuana; Bailey Nelson, 18, Hudson, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Police responded to a possible domestic incident at 10:35 a.m. Nov. 14 at 505 S. Maple St. A man agreed to go stay at a relative's.
• A mother called police at 4:33 p.m. Nov. 14 to report her daughter did not return home from school. The daughter was located at a friend's house; the friend's mother returned the child.
• A woman reported hitting a deer at 6:14 p.m. Nov. 16 at North Maple Street and Overlook Drive. The deer was not found, but car debris was removed from the roadway.
