Ellsworth students to preview futures at expo, chamber told

An Ellsworth High School event this fall will expose eighth through 12th graders to what's available for them after graduation, the local chamber of commerce was informed Thursday.

The EHS Career Expo is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 17, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Pierce County Fairgrounds, according to Guidance Counselor Laurel Kozitza and Aria Snyder of the school.

"I started at the high school in January and this is my first project, which I've been working on ever since," Snyder said.

A committee of 8-9 school personnel has been involved in the planning, Kozitza said. Besides EHS, other schools in Pierce and St. Croix counties have been invited.
