Pierce County Historical Association finally getting settled into new office

For the first time in a long time, the Pierce County Historical Association (PCHA) has a lot of office space to use.

The relocated headquarters in the former Lawrence Studio building is almost overwhelming, as shown by PCHA President John Norquist this week. The move from the lower level of the Ellsworth Village Hall to the site across from the Pierce County Courthouse was accomplished by the end-of-last-year goal, Norquist said Wednesday.

"It's triple the space," he estimated, reminding that's just the bungalow part of the studio building now housing the office--not the entire facility, which will also have a display area and mini-museum in the future.
