Band to kick off Ellsworth's library's concert series

Looking for some wholesome, free, family entertainment this summer?

Don't miss the famous Teddy Bear Band performing at the East End Park in Ellsworth on Tuesday, June 18. Bringing a bear is not required, but makes the event so much more fun! So...BYOTB, if possible!

The Ellsworth Public Library is partnering with the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce's Together Tuesdays event to bring family fun to town throughout the summer. There will also be food, vendors, free crafts and activities, including a bounce house, face painting, balloons and more provided by the chamber from 3 to 7 p.m.

More musical entertainment is planned for the summer with the Grammy Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers making a return engagement to the park on Tuesday, July 16, at 6:30 p.m. Last year, the Okee Dokee Brothers performed at the park and were a huge success. This young duo has gained a national following drawn to their witty lyrics, strong musicianship and unique folk style.

And winding up the three-part series for this summer is Pint Size Polkas performing on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 6:30 p.m. It's no secret polka music is the happiest form of music on the face of the earth!

The Together Tuesdays event runs from 3 to 7 p.m., with the music starting at 6:30 p.m. Call the library at 715-273-3209 for information about the music or visit the library's website at EL
