On Nov. 11, the Ellsworth High School volunteer group “Just Do Something” organized their Fall Charity Dodge Ball Tournament. There were many local groups, students and businesses represented. The night began with a dedication to U.S. veterans and then 16 teams battled for the title, with Clyde's Crawlers team made up of Charysse Minder, Chris Johnson, Mike Gutting, Josh Minder and Andy Matzek taking the crown. The runner-up team was the Middle School Misfits, made up of Ryan Christenson, J Fisk, Margie Biel, Chad Steldt, Ben Magee, Beth Christman and Missy Kowalchyk. Seven hundred dollars was raised for the charity of the winners' choice, which was the Wounded Warrior Project, in honor of Veterans Day. A spring dodge ball event is in the works. (Submitted photos)
