Ellsworth Middle School had their fourth month of “Student of the Month” ceremony for the 2013-2014 school year.

December’s theme and focus was “Compassion.” The middle school staff selected students they felt demonstrated a genuine concern and welfare for their peers and adults.

Students learned about and discussed this very important character trait throughout the month, and then teachers and staff were asked to nominate two boys and two girls per grade for grades 6-8, and one boy and one girl for each fifth grade class consistently demonstrating the character trait of compassion.

Middle school officials congratulate these students for all they do to make this a caring community. Students received a Student of the Month certificate and a free dilly bar from Dairy Queen during a ceremony with peers. Officials are so proud of these Ellsworth Middle School students!
