On March 7, a group of eighth grade students from Ellsworth Middle School took a career exploration field trip to Southeast Technical College in Red Wing.

Students got to learn and explore these six different major and career areas: Early Childhood Education, Nursing, Computer Programming, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, and Criminal Justice.

Students learned from instructors on these different majors and career opportunities with discussion, hands-on learning, and question and answer sessions. Students learned about these areas as well as more knowledge on technical college and what Southeast Technical has to offer.

Appreciation goes to Southeast Technical for providing this learning experience for students in the St. Croix area; it was a great experience for everyone!
