Kiwanis Student of the Week: Brandon Rundquist
Prescott High School sophomore Brandon Rundquist is the Feb. 21 Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week. He was nominated by language arts teacher Tracey Budworth, who said "Brandon is a very conscientious student. He is actively engaged in group work and class discussions, asks thought-provoking questions and offers great insight. He is continually improving as a reader, writer, listener, and speaker."
Rundquist is the son of Michael and Nicole Rundquist, whom he considers his role models, along with his music instructors and coaches.
Rundquist is a member of the A Capella Choir, Show Choir and the school musical. An honor roll student, he has taken part in Solo & Ensemble, honors choirs and takes private singing and piano lessons. He has his own band (w/in Harmony). He also performs work through his church and runs cross country. His hobbies include music (especially singing), running and helping others. In the future, he plans to be a part of National Honor Society, continuing his run on the A honor roll, participating in mission trips and Student Council, and attending a four-year university.
