Prescott police: Man pronounced dead after being found unresponsive

These incidents were reported to the Prescott Police Department Nov. 12-26.

Man found dead

Police responded at 9:58 a.m. Nov. 12 to 865 Helen St. for the report of a male not breathing with CPR in progress. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and two people from Rhinelander were arrested on drug-related charges as a result of the investigation. Jenna Rae Ohm, 37, was arrested for felony manufacturing/delivery of THC, obstructing or resisting an officer, possess non-narcotic controlled substance, possess schedule I and II narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kyle Jon Bushong, 29, was arrested for possess non-narcotic controlled substance, possess schedule I and II narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation hold.

Church burglary

Police were called at 8:14 a.m. Nov. 14 to a church at 1435 St. Croix St., where subjects had entered sometime during the night, forcibly entered the office, and eaten food. Nothing was identified as stolen.

Child services called

Daniel R. Carr, 31, Prescott, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of THC after an incident at 8:41 p.m. Nov. 14 at 907 Pearl St. A complainant called police concerned for a child's welfare. Upon making contact with an adult at the residence, a large amount of drug paraphernalia was found. Child Protective Services was called and children were removed from the residence by their grandmother.

Erratic driving draws attention

Thomas R. Plesha, 27, West St. Paul, was cited for possession of THC, operating without a driver's license, and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 6:39 p.m. Nov. 19 at 1707 Orrin Road. Plesha's vehicle followed a police cruiser from Ellsworth and was driving erratically. Once the vehicle passed police, it turned into AutoWorks, which was deemed suspicious. The Pierce County K-9 was called to the scene and conducted a sniff test.

Critter patrol

A woman was afraid to get out of her car due to a dog by her front door at 5:37 p.m. Nov. 20 at 654 Washington St. The dog was returned to its owner after police arrived.

Lost gun

A man reported at 10:01 a.m. Nov. 25 that he has lost his hunting rifle the previous night at an unknown location. He tried looking for it but was unsuccessful. Camera footage was checked at the grocery store. Minnesota State Patrol, Washington County Sheriff's Office and the DNR were contacted. The rifle was picked up by a citizen walking a dog and turned into the police department.

Arrests

• Joseph R. Krutke, 36, Prescott, was arrested for failure to appear on a Pierce County warrant at 11:13 a.m. Nov. 17 at 1041 Orrin Road.

• Timothy J. Eaton, 35, Prescott, was arrested for felony bail jumping and a failure to appear warrant at 5:05 p.m. Nov. 19 at 725 Kinnickinnic St.

• Ronald D. Dorau, 51, Prescott, was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct after police responded to No Name Saloon for a fight in progress at 9:23 p.m. Nov. 22.

• Ryan M. Hanson, 36, Prescott, was arrested for disorderly conduct after police received a domestic in progress call at 1:11 p.m. Nov. 24 at 328 N. Locust St.

Traffic troubles

• Luann J. Trettin, 46, Hudson, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:39 a.m. Nov. 14 at Highway 10 and Broad Street.

• Kimberly A. Miller, 23, New Richmond, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:01 a.m. Nov. 17 at Dexter and Jefferson streets.

• Terrel R. Brown, 21, Apple Valley, Minn., was cited for speeding and warned for inattentive driving and no proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 7:02 a.m. Nov. 17 at Hilton Street and Highway 10.

• Laura K. Prosser, 28, Crystal, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:37 a.m. Nov. 17 at Cherry Street and Highway 10.

• James D. McCullough, 57, Maple Grove, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:22 a.m. Nov. 18 at Jefferson and Wacota streets.

• Isaac C. Bauer, 22, Hastings, Minn., was cited for violating a red traffic signal after a traffic stop at 4:55 p.m. Nov. 19 at Highway 29 and Eagle Ridge Drive. The subject was on his phone when he entered the intersection on red.

• Christina M. Vogel, 36, Prescott, was cited for violating a red traffic signal after a traffic stop at 5:36 p.m. Nov. 18 at Lake and Oak streets.

• Timothy J. Phillips, 34, Ellsworth, was issued a correction notice for operating a vehicle without tail lamps after a traffic stop at 5:53 p.m. Nov. 18 at Dexter Street and Highway 10. The subject has been aware of the issue for more than two months.

• Charlene Guzman, 23, Maplewood, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:27 p.m. nov. 18 at Highway 35 and Dexter Street.

• Andrea L. Bruce, 29, La Crosse, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:32 p.m. Nov. 18 at Jefferson and Wacota streets.

• Riley S. Rasmusson, 22, Rogers, Minn., was cited for speeding and expired vehicle registration after a traffic stop at 11:31 p.m. Nov. 18 at Jefferson and Wacota streets.

• Phillip J. Cudmore, 43, Galesville, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:42 a.m. Nov. 19 at Jefferson and Monroe streets.

• Spencer C. Paulson, 20, Reedsburg, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:29 a.m. Nov. 19 at Jefferson and Warren streets.

• Charles I. Erickson, 28, Hastings, Minn., was cited for a 48-hour parking violation left on vehicle at 3:07 p.m. Nov. 18 at Tower Heights Court and Walnut Street. The vehicle had a flat tire, leaf debris piled on the windshield and clearly had not been moved in some time. Tires were chalked at 10:10 a.m. Nov. 17.

• Alexa J. Brunkow, Red Wing, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:50 p.m. NOv. 21 at Highway 35 and 570th Avenue.

• Sydney L. Gould, Chatfield, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:48 p.m. Nov. 21 at Highway 35 and 570th Avenue.

• Andrew J. Pelehos, 36, Red Wing, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:46 p.m. Nov. 21 at Highway 35 and Dexter Street.

• Johnathan P. Moes, 20, River Falls, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:26 a.m. Nov. 23 at Cherry Street and Highway 10.

• Alan J. Palmer, 65, Blaine, Minn., was cited for boat launch permit violation at 8:28 a.m. Nov. 24 on the Mississippi River.

• Lindsey L. Fletcher, 21, Oakdale, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:28 a.m. Nov. 24 at Jefferson and Wacota streets.

• Kyle R. Erickson, 32, Prescott, was cited for speeding and operating without carrying a license after a traffic stop at 11:36 p.m. Nov. 24 at Hilton Street and Highway 10.

• Paul J. McKenzie, 62, Minnetonka, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:04 p.m. Nov. 25 at Jefferson and Monroe streets.

Miscellaneous

• Police responded at 5:48 p.m. Nov. 12 to 667 Dexter St. for a custody dispute. They spoke with the grandma and located marijuana and smoking devices. A report of animal neglect concerning the same residence was received at 11:37 a.m. Nov. 15. Health and Human Services was contacted to conduct a home visit.

• Police responded to reports of someone burning marijuana at 5:43 p.m. Nov. 14 at 735 Shane Park Circle. The suspect was burning sage.

• A missing person was reported at 11:18 a.m. Nov. 16 at 575 Monroe St.

• Someone reported two females allegedly leaving Churchill Market with open wine coolers in the vehicle at 4:36 p.m. Nov. 16. Police found the vehicle but it was unoccupied at a residence.

• A complainant reported someone trying to enter a residence at 9:47 p.m. Nov. 16 at 464 Monroe St. Nobody was located and no signs of attempted entry seen.

• A complainant called police after he recovering what he thought was a gun from a dumpster at 1:13 p.m. Nov. 21 at 730 Borner St. It turned out to be an Airsoft pistol.

• A burglary report was taken at 4:33 a.m. Nov. 22 at 135 Broad St.

• Police responded to 145 Broad St. at 11:40 p.m. Nov. 22 for two males verbally arguing. One left at the bartender's request.

• Police responded to Ptacek's IGA at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 24 where two people were having a disagreement about an EBT card for shopping. The parties worked it out.

• An unwanted subject was cited and transported to the police station at 5:41 p.m. Nov. 24 from 665 Ash St.

• A woman fell down in front of 114 Broad St. at 3:26 p.m. Nov. 25. She had a small cut on her head, but refused EMS.

• A man reported another man pouring beer into his windshield while he was parked at 1:16 a.m. Nov. 26 at 138 Broad St. The man was not found.
