She was born the daughter of Raymond and Bertha (Flynn) Pfluger on May 23, 1930, in Red Wing, Minn. She grew up in rural Hager City, Wis., and attended the Wilson School during her elementary years and graduated from Red Wing Central High School, Red Wing. She worked at the Red Wing Potteries for 4 years as a pottery painter. After her marriage to Clyde Holt and the raising of 7 children, she attended the nursing program in Red Wing and became an LPN. She was a wonderful seamstress and created many beautiful quilts as well as garments for her children and grandchildren. She loved to go antiquing and bargain hunting with her close friends. She loved her children and grandchildren, collecting and treasuring mementos of their lives. Her life at the Plum City Care Center for the past 3 years was filled with the love and tender care provided by all of the staff. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her throughout her life but we are comforted by the knowledge that she has entered her eternal home through the grace of her Savior and Lord.
