Prescott boys basketball takes care of Ellsworth 58-43

PRESCOTT - Prescott notched its second win a row this week as they beat Hwy. 10 rival Ellsworth 58-43 Thursday.

The Panthers struggled to make shots. Ellsworth finished 15-for-50 (30 percent) from the field and 3 of 18 (16.7 percent) from 3-point land.

Ellsworth was down two, 30-28, at the half. However, the Panthers were outscored 12-6 in the third quarter and 28-15 in the second half.

Chris Niedfeldt finished with 10 points, seven assists and five rebounds for Ellsworth. Riley O'Neil added nine points and five rebounds. Jimmy Miska and Josh Fuchs both scored eight points in the loss.

Prescott's Zack Charette led all scorers with 17 points. Teammate Mark Nahorniak had 10 points.
