Prescott breaks losing streak, beats New Richmond

PRESCOTT - Prescott's girls basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak by beating the New Richmond 45-34 Friday.

Alyssa Krings scored 17 points for the Cardinals, who improve to 6-5 overall. Kallie Krech finished with nine points.

PHS trailed 21-14 in the second quarter before going on an 8-0 run to take a 22-21 lead at the break. They held the Tigers, 3-7 overall, to just 13 points in the second half.
