Ellsworth girls win third straight, rout New Richmond

NEW RICHMOND - Ellsworth High School's girls basketball team outscored New Richmond 29-13 in the second quarter on their way to their third straight win Tuesday by a 70-34 score.

The Panthers used a 14-0 run in the second quarter to break the game open then poured it on in the second half, outscoring NR 30-16. Besides being EHS' third straight win overall, it's also their fourth straight road win.

Shannon Campbell led the Panthers with 23 points. Teammate Kelly Kannel had a season-high 17 points and Kayla Christopherson finished with 11 points.
