Panthers outlast Elmwood 3-1

ELMWOOD - Bev Glaus hopes they're not all like this one. Margie Biel hopes they're not either.

Biel, head coach of Ellsworth High School's volleyball team hopes her team can put away opponents when they have the chance this season.

And Glaus, head coach of Elmwood High School volleyball team, hopes her team doesn't have to put forth sweat-staining efforts only come away without victory as they did last Tuesday against the Panthers, losing 3-1 despite the fact three of the games went beyond 25 points.

Fire your guns

Ellsworth led most of the way through as the Raiders had a hard time matching up front against the Panthers and their hitters, Kayla Christopherson and Claire Tingelhoff. Both recorded 17 kills. But the Raiders matched Ellsworth's hard hits with hard serving.
