Boyceville beats PC in triple overtime

PLUM CITY - From desultory 13-13 score at halftime both Plum City and Boyceville high school boys basketball teams excited the crowd in the Plum City gymnasium with a triple overtime contest which ended with a 54-47 Bulldog win.

Boyceville won despite PC's Chase Luebker scoring a game-high 29 points, including six three-pointers. PC made 10 trifectas for the ballgame.

But the Bulldogs had the balanced scoring led by Luke Hellman's 17 points. Boyceville had three players in double figures while the Blue Devils had just one.

The 'Dawgs pulled away in the third overtime, outscoring PC 12-5. Boyceville made 11-of-12 in all three overtime sessions while Plum City shot just three free-throws for the entire game.

Plum City drops to 0-2 in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference while Boyceville is 1-1.
