Brewers again beat Braves 2-0

MILWAUKEE - Donovan Hand allowed just two hits in four-and-two-thirds innings of work, as the Brewers hand Atlanta another loss – eight in a row now – at Miller Park.

Pitcher Francisco Rodriguez locked up his sixth save in a row and his 300th of his career in the 2-0 win.

Manager Ron Roenicke says Hand did a great job in his first major league start and hit the goal of pitching at least four innings.

Outfielder Caleb Gindl also had a first in the win – his first major league hit in the fifth inning (pinch-hit single).
