Packers crush Rams 19-7 in preseason contest

ST. LOUIS - For the first time this preseason, the Green Bay Packers were able to put points on the board – beating the Saint Louis Rams 19-7.

Second-round draft pick and running back Eddie Lacy had a solid debut for the Packers, carrying the ball 8 times for 40 yards and one reception for 11 yards. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was 10-of-12 for 134 yards and lead the team to a couple field goals.

The Packers finally scored the first touchdown of the preseason in the fourth quarter, when quarterback B.J. Coleman connected on a nine-yard pass to rookie Andy Mulumba.
