MINNESOTA SPORTS ROUND-UP: Ponder out for Vikings-Steelers game

LONDON - Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback Christian Ponder has a fractured rib and will not play in Sunday's game against the Steelers in London.

Ponder suffered the injury in last week's loss against Cleveland. The injury means reserve quarterback Matt Cassell will be behind the center on Sunday. Cassell says he was notified this morning that he'd get the starting nod for the noon game on Sunday. Like the Vikings, Pittsburgh is 0-3 this season.

Minnesota Twins fans note: Start time for Saturday's game against Cleveland at Target Field has been changed to 12:05 p.m. It was originally slated to start at 3:05 p.m.
