MINNESOTA SPORTS ROUNDUP: Vikings to face Giants on Monday Night

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- Two struggling teams meet up on "Monday Night Football" this week as the Minnesota Vikings take on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Josh Freeman will make his debut at quarterback for the Vikings, who are 1-4 on the season. At 0-6, the Giants are one of three teams still without a victory this season, joining Tampa Bay and Jacksonville. New York signed former Browns running back Peyton Hillis last week in an effort to boost an injury-riddled ground game. Both David Wilson and Brandon Jacobs are hurt. Giants quarterback Eli Manning has struggled, throwing 15 interceptions in six games. The Vikings will be without safety Harrison Smith, who injured his toe last week. Kickoff tonight is set for 7:40 p.m.
