MINNESOTA SPORTS ROUND-UP: T-Wolves return home to play Knicks

MINNEAPOLIS --  The MInnesota Timberwolves have won six of their past seven games, including a 4-1 West Coast road trip, and return home tonight to host the ice cold New York Knicks. 

New York has dropped seven straight games and nine of its last ten.  Minnesota is 30-29 and four-and-a-half-games out of the NBA Western Conference playoff picture.  The Knicks are 21-40, but still only six-and-a-half-games out of the NBA Eastern Conference playoff chase.  Tip tonight at the Target Center is at 7 p.m.


The Minnesota Twins return to Fort Myers for a game tonight against the Baltimore Orioles.  Minnesota lost to Miami 3-1 yesterday in Jupiter, Florida.  They send Mike Pelfrey to the hill tonight to make his second Grapefruit League start of the spring.  Tonight's first pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
