Girls basketball: Wolves lifted by Feuker's 21-point game
The Elmwood/Plum City Wolves outlasted the Royall Panthers on Wednesday, Feb. 21 on account of a 21-point effort by sophomore Katie Feuker.
Wednesday night's 60-54 victory was the Wolves first playoff win since the 2012-13 season.
Feuker shot 7-8 from the free-throw line, 4-7 from the field, and made both of her three-point attempts in her career-varsity game.
Lexi Diesing and Rowan Rupakus also joined Feuker in the double-digit scoring territory. Diesing finished with 15 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks in her double-double game, while Rupakus tallied up 10 points, three steals and two assists.
Ellie Funk led the Wolves in assists (six) and steals (four).
Royall's McKenzie Baeseman led all scorers with 23 points.
With the loss, the Royall's (No. 9) finished their season with a 10-13 overall record. The Wolves (No. 8) improve to 10-13, and will travel to Bangor (No. 1) to take on the 20-3 Cardinals team who defeated Granton (No. 16) 83-11 on Wednesday night. The Bangor vs. EPC regional game will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23.

Cameron 85, Spring Valley 44
Spring Valley's season came to a close on Tuesday, Feb. 20 when the Cardinals were defeated by the No. 4-seeded Cameron Comets by a 41-point margin.
The Cardinals close the door on their 1-22 season, while the Comets (19-4) advance to the second round of regionals where they'll face the No. 5-seeded Unity Eagles (16-7) on Friday, Feb. 23.
