Erlandson wins Big Buck Hunter Tournament again
NEW YORK CITY - Sara Erlandson of Beldenville repeated as the champion in the Ladies Tournament at the Big Buck Hunter video game championships Friday in New York.
She finished fourth in the World Championship, held Saturday, the highest finish ever for a woman. She won $5,000 for winning the Lady's Tournament and $2,000 for finishing fourth in the championship.
Other area competitors who did well include Dan Himes, who finished eighth; Audra Zentner, who finished 12th; and Jerad Erlandson, Sara Erlandson's husband, who was 18th.
All four qualified on the Big Buck Hunter video machine at Clyde's Corner Bar in Beldenville, near Ellsworth.
