Pierce County prep sports resumes this evening

After being off the court and the mat for a while due to record cold temperatures (and in some cases off since before Christmas), Pierce County prep teams resume their seasons starting tonight and Friday.

On the wrestling mat tonight, both of the state's top ranked teams in Division 2 and 3 are at home in conference dual meets. No. 1 Ellsworth hosts Osceola and No. 1 Spring Valley/Elmwood hosts Glenwood City. Prescott will be in action at Durand.

Besides two top ranked teams, there are 19 high school wrestlers ranked in the top 10 (including Prescott's Alex Stuhl and Troy Urman) from Pierce County.
