Prescott girls hoops throws scare into No. 6 Baldwin-Woodville
PRESCOTT - The Prescott High School girls' basketball team found itself in rare company at the start of the fourth quarter in their game Friday vs. No. 6 ranked Baldwin-Woodville.
The Cardinals outscored the Blackhawks 15-4 in the the third quarter and led 28-27 to begin the fourth. Rarely had teams done this to B-W this season.
But Baldwin-Woodville responded by outscoring PHS 15-6 to win the game 42-34.
Marti Johnson led the Cards' in scoring with eight points. Kellie Magee and Katy Syverson both scored seven points.
The loss drops PHS to 2-6 in the Middle Border Conference, 4-8 overall.
