Prep softball roundup: Clean sweep of local teams

PLUM CITY -- Tayler Whipple had two hits as Plum City was defeated by Mondovi, 10-2, in Dunn-St. Croix Conference prep softball on Thursday, April 20.

Maddie Schellhas drove in the only two runs for the Blue Devils in the seventh inning with a 2-out single.


Boyceville 13, Elmwood 4

Hannah Feuker was 2-for-3 and Mikayla Afdahl was 2-for-4 with two runs scored as the Raiders were defeated by the host Bulldogs.

Amery 10, Prescott 9

The Cardinals had five hitters with two hits, but couldn’t score enough runs to defeat the host Warriors. Haley Miner had two doubles.

Mackenzie Carey and Katie Miller each hit home runs. Sam Zuehlsdorf scored three runs and had two hits.

Durand 8, Spring Valley 3
