Minor injuries reported on opening day of deer hunting season

Wisconsin officials say three deer hunters have suffered mostly minor injuries not in the opening day of the state's firearms deer hunting season.

One hunter suffered a hand wound in Manitowoc County. Department of Natural Resources wardens say he was hit when another hunter shot at a running deer. That happened during a deer drive. Two other hunters were injured when they fell from deer stands.

All the injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
