Tim Dahl resigned as the Ellsworth boys' basketball team's head coach in May after leading the Panthers for three years. “How many people get to look at their lives and say, ‘Hey, I got to do something that I really love to do,’” Dahl asked. “People go their whole lives without saying that. I can say that because of what I’ve gotten to do with Ellsworth basketball.”

The Prescott Cardinals softball team's 22-4 2018 season came to an end on Friday, June 8, when the Cardinals were defeated 2-1 by the Tomahawk Hatchets in the WIAA Division 3 State Tournament semifinals.
