Eric Huppert, Subway Franchise Owner at the Team Oil Travel Center in Spring Valley, was happy and proud to accept the "Certificate of Award for Best Restaurant Opening in the Midwest Region" when he and Head of Operations Carrie Vanasse attended the owners meeting in Bloomington, Minn., on April 9. Town of Gilman Supervisor Don Nellessen, Iron Horse Saloon Proprietor Drew Dickenson and Pierce County Supervisor Ken Snow attended the annual Iron Horse St. Jude's fundraiser in Spring Valley April 6. All the hard work of Dickenson and Snow, along with the staff of many local celebrities, proved to be financially successful for St. Jude's.
