Members of the UW-River Falls women’s hockey team are all smiles as they show off their trophies after defeating the University of St. Thomas, 5-3, in the third place game at the NCAA Division III Women’s Ice Hockey Championship Tournament last Saturday at Stafford Ice Arena in Plattsburgh, N.Y. The win marked the first time the Falcons have brought home hardware in three trips to the national semifinals.
