A group between 20-30 participated in a protest Tuesday morning to save the two oak trees that have stood on the Pierce County Courthouse front lawn for generations. Among the speakers were Eleanor Oltman, Jack Hines and David Culver. Culver has been one of the most passionate speakers among those in saving the trees.
