A three-vehicle accident occurred Monday morning on Hwy. 63 near the back channel bridge in the Town of Trenton. According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, Anita Hoyer, 27, Hager City, was stopped in the northbound lane waiting to make a left turn onto 830th Street when she was rear-ended by Cassandra L. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department, in coordination with the Pierce County Solid Waste and Highway departments, announced this month a permanent drop-off location is now available at the sheriff's department for residents to dispose of their unwanted or expired prescriptions, over-the-counter and pet medications.
