Sunday's late-afternoon storm downed this barn, owned by James Jean on 570th Avenue east of Ellsworth. The barn's basement was recently rebuilt, and the upper portion was restored by Amish workers. The rafters and support post were all new oak. No animals were injured. Most of the damage from the rain and wind storm in Pierce County was in the east town of Ellsworth and El Paso area.
