A Beldenville woman was arrested Sunday night for operating while intoxicated (OWI) following a head-on collision on US Highway 63 in the town of Trimbelle. Susan Langer, 53, was northbound on Hwy. 63, just south of 490th Ave., when she crossed the centerline and hit a southbound vehicle operated by Janet Mikla, 61, Downing, according to Pierce County sheriff's deputy Jean Spletstoser in a news release. The accident happened at 8:56 p.m. Mikla was transported by Ellsworth Area Ambulance to Baldwin Area Ambulance with undetermined injuries.
