Millicent M. Stockwell, 77, died at St. Brigid's at High Park, Red Wing, MN on Thursday, July 2, 2009. She was born at home in Pierce Co., Wisconsin, to Milton and Ruth (Glaus) Hulverson on June 23, 1932. She attended country grade schools in Pierce Co. and graduated from Ellsworth High School. Millie married Edward E. Stockwell on September 11, 1951, and lived in Montana for three years. They returned to Wisconsin and lived in Esdaile, WI, for 50 years. She lived at St.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Bethel Covenant Church with Reverend Greg Fondell officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. and again on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service all at church. Memorials are preferred. Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Ellsworth is assisting the family with arrangements.

Penny Lee Hamilton, age 61, of Hastings, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at her home. Penny was born March 7, 1948, in River Falls, Wis., to Joseph and Lorraine (Yauck) Young. She married Henry C. Hamilton on April 24, 1965, in Hudson, Wis. She was preceded in death by her father; brother Kenneth Young; nieces, Angela Feuerhelm and Nissi Young; brother-in-law, William Rowan. James "Wimp" Schillinger, age 73 of Hersey, Wis. died Monday, June 15 at his home in Hersey. Memorial service Saturday, June 27 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Glenwood City. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday. Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley is handling arrangements.
John Edwin McCleary, 88, of Red Wing, died Monday, June 22, 2009, at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park. He was born Sept. 27, 1920, in Plum City, Wis., the son of John and Bertha (Fieler) McCleary. He graduated from Plum City High School and attended the University of River Falls Agriculture Program. He began farming with his father in 1940 and eventually took over the farm. He married Elaine Metcalf on May 31, 1950, at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. He retired from farming in 1977 and they moved to Red Wing. He worked part-time for Kmart and occasionally went back to the farm.
Elizabeth (Betty) Young, age 89, of Prescott, Wis., passed away June 16, 2009, at the Lutheran Home in River Falls, Wis., after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Survived by daughter, Rose Mary Boothe and husband Robert of Luck, Wis.; son Marvin Young Jr.
Nettie Vera (Hrichena) Langager, 84, of Red Wing, Minn., died at her home Wednesday, June 17, 2009. She was born February 5, 1925, in Max, N.D., the daughter of Ehnat and Vera (Kabanuk) Hrichena, sincere Christians who raised their family on a farm near Sawyer, N.D. She attended school until 8th grade and was a graduate of a non-denominational Bible school in Minot, N.D.

Seitz on May 17, 1952, in Minneapolis; he died January 3, 1989. They lived in South St.
