MADISON - A federal judge has put Wisconsin’s latest abortion restriction on hold. William Conley issued a 19-page ruling last night which delays the enforcement of a law that requires abortion doctors to have hospital admitting privileges within 30 miles of their clinics.
WHEAT RIDGE, Col. - The body of a Minnesotan who went missing in Colorado has been found. Park County, Colorado deputies were called on July 4, after a group of people found a body near their cabin. Annie Meyer was reported missing in February, after she didn't show up for work for several weeks and only communicated with family members through text message.

NEW RICHMOND - The South team beat the North 11-7 in the St. Croix Valley Baseball League All-Star Game played at Citizen's Field Friday evening. Plum City's Chris Biederman won game MVP honors in leading the South team to victory. Spring Valley's Ryan Stangl got the start at shortstop for the North and collected the first hit of the game for his team. Teammates Lukas Hellman, Brad Dufek, and Dylan Willett all entered the game during the middle innings as substitutions, and went a combined 3-for-5 with 4 RBIs.
Ellsworth first baseman J.P. Paulson was named Postion Player of the Week for the St. Croix Valley Baseball League. Paulson was 4-for-7 from the plate with three home runs, six RBIs, four runs scored and drew walks in two games last week. New Richmond's Hayden Zimmer was named the SCVL's Pitcher of the Week. He struck out eight batters in a one-hit, shutout performance over Bay City.
