An animal visitor surprised Dr. E.R. Jonas and his wife, Theresa, when it came to the yard of their home west of Ellsworth a week ago Monday morning around 9 a.m. The bear may have been attracted to the site because of raccoon feeding done by Mrs. Jonas there, her husband thought.
