Situated on a residential plot on Walnut Street in Prescott, the Borner Farm was established for fresh produce, tours and educational purposes in 2009. Diane and her husband Baard Webster own the land which was originally a homestead run by the Hollister family and was one of the oldest settlements in Pierce County, according to the Borner Farm Project website. About 43 firefighters showed for the June 19 propane emergencies training at the Ellsworth school bus garage lot. Ellsworth, Spring Valley, River Falls, Lund and Prescott fire departments were represented at the training.
